What does DDP mean?
DDP is Delivered Duty Paid. Under this term we take responsibility for the shipment all the way to your address, including EU import customs clearance, import duty and VAT. You agree one landed price and there is nothing further to pay on arrival. The alternative, DDU or DAP, means the receiver pays the duty themselves.
Can you collect from more than one supplier?
Yes. This is one of the most common requests. If you buy from several factories we collect from each of them, consolidate everything at our warehouse in Fujian and ship it as one consignment with one set of documents.
Which countries in Europe do you deliver to?
We deliver across the European Union. Tell us the destination address when you request a quote and we will confirm the route and landed cost for that specific lane.
What is the minimum shipment you handle?
It depends on the mode. Express suits documents, samples and small parcels; air freight suits commercial cargo that is too heavy for courier rates; sea freight suits volume that does not need to fly. Minimum weights and volumes vary by lane and season, so send us your actual weight, volume and deadline and we will recommend the cheapest mode that meets it.
How long does shipping take?
It depends on the mode, the route, the season and how quickly customs releases the cargo. We do not publish fixed transit times because a number quoted without knowing your lane would be misleading. When you request a quote we give you a realistic estimate for that specific shipment.
Do I need an EORI number?
Under DDP we act as importer of record and use our own registration for the clearance, so you generally do not need your own EORI to receive the goods. If your business requires the import to be declared under your own EORI, tell us and we will discuss how to structure it.
What documents do you need from my supplier?
A commercial invoice and packing list as a minimum. Depending on the commodity you may also need certificates such as CE, RoHS or other product specific documents. We will tell you exactly what is required once we know what you are shipping.
What items cannot be shipped?
Dangerous goods, counterfeit goods and items restricted by Chinese export rules or EU import rules cannot be carried on standard lanes. Some categories such as lithium batteries, liquids, powders and magnetic products are shippable but need the correct declaration and packing. Describe the item honestly and we will tell you whether it can go and on which channel.
What happens if my goods are damaged or lost?
Tell us immediately and we open a claim with the carrier. We also offer cargo insurance so the declared value is covered. Ask about coverage when you book — the option costs a small percentage of the declared value and is worth taking on higher value shipments.
How do I pay?
We invoice in RMB or USD depending on what suits you, with payment due before departure for most shipments. Regular customers can discuss terms. We will confirm the arrangement when quoting.
How do I get started?
Send us the commodity, weight and volume, pickup city, destination address and readiness date through the
quote form. That is enough for us to come back with a landed cost and recommended mode.
Every shipment is different. These answers describe how we generally work — confirm the specifics with us for your own cargo.
